What is vertical farming?
Vertical farming grows crops in stacked layers inside a controlled indoor space. Light, temperature, humidity and nutrients are managed precisely, so plants grow the same way in every season. This lets Leafood harvest fresh produce every week of the year, close to the customers who buy it, without pesticides. 95% of the water we use is recycled.
What we grow
- Microgreens: pea, sunflower, broccoli, radish and arugula (rocket) microgreens, a microgreens mix and the Beatos microgreens mix.
- Sprouts: mung bean, leek, radish and alfalfa sprouts, and the Super Trio Mix.
